Default Upgrade cable clutch to hydraulic: 2005 Partner 2.0Hdi

hi all

Mods: Not sure if this is the right header but I'll go ahead and post:

Has anyone upgraded the cable clutch on a Partner 2.0Hdi ( ) to the hydraulic unit that Citreon used on same model Berlingos?
If not, hypothetically:
can it be done?
What would be needed?

Yes you can do it we done it to fit a V6 engine in a partner

You need the entire pedal box and fluid reservoir from a hydraulic partner or berlingo of same version and the associated hydraulic parts for the gearbox the gearbox can do hydraulic or cable its just the lever that is different but you would need to split the engine and box to fit the correct lever !

All 1.6 diesels are hydraulic.

reliable406........... what year Partner did you do the conversion?
How would I check for the right parts? Here in South Africa only the Partner was imported in 2.0Hdi........... all Berlingos are petrol......... so I assume clutch/gearbox are different?

How cheap are Peugeot not fitting a hydraulic unit OEM
