Default Cluster Warning Lights Issue

Hi guys,

I'm currently working on a 2009 1.6 hdi partner that had numerous issues. I've sorted a lot out but I'm left with an electrical gremlin that I can't quite solve. I'll just list them out:

-The glowplug light comes on with the left indicator
-A lot of lamps turn on when the handbrake is pulled
-High beams seem to make the abs and low fuel light get slightly brighter.

I tried resetting the bsi, clearing the codes, taking out wires to the comms unit while running, cleaning some of the earths around the controls, cleaning the battery terminals, checked all the fuses, checked the cluster circuitboard.

The van had a black box spliced in (very badly) which I removed. It also has an aftermarket headunit if that matters.

I'd really appreciate some advice. I can't seem to find any circuit diagrams to help either.
