Default wot to do

I have a 55 plate 307cc 2.0 petrol.it has a engine prob most likely the head. dont no if i should fix this or break it for parts as i have another car. All parts are in good condition and i am the only owner this car has had.would any1 be interested in any parts.

Replace the engine.i have another engine but that is the variable cam timing engine mine is not i can fit the good engine i have but its a risk with emissions.and the right engine is rare.

if the head's warped just whip it off and get it skimmed and what makes you think it's the head , does the temp rise till you bleed it ? is it losing water ? what colour is the oil ?

Im looking to sell it anyway as i have a new car and coast of having the head skimed is simaler to a recon engine plus my old engine is already out.
.it over heats the header tank will empty then overflow so the water is under presure.
