Default Stolen Mirror

Has anyone had or heard of mirrors being stolen from 307 Peugeot. My one was broken off at an Asda car park yesterday. And the way it was parked, it could not have been hit by another car or anything. And it was not left on the floor, so presumed stolen. Found another on Ebay for 34.00
Regards
Pete

Had bits stolen off various cars - wheel trims, fog lights and clip on body trim - which is why I drive a shed.

You might find your mirror on ebay shortly...

A couple of people on my street, one of them my neighbour had mirrors stolen. It seems to be the latest thing. Guess there's not much call for mirrors of a 2004 307 round here.

Would love to catch one in the act, don't think I could hold back.....probably cost me a lot more though in the end.

Yep - trouble is you then become the offender not the victim.

It's become a wierd world, where I cannot hit someone for breaking my car delibrately. But an MP can steal 40,000 or so and expect to carry on in their job with the support of thier leader.

The mirror is bolted on from the inside of the car. You can't remove it without causing damage so I can't imagine it would have been stolen to sell.

Reminds me of my time in Bristol.

Dark night, friend parked on side of road away from street lights - he's sitting in the car waiting for me. A pleb turns up and breaks the car aerial in two (it was in the days when we had metal telescopic aerials). He obviously didn't see my friend sat in the car, who was not very pleased. Needless to say, the pleb received a good stiff telling off - and probably never did it again - at least not before checking to see if the owner is sitting in the car.

That was simply human error - I was sure that once it was discovered that the public had wrongly paid 6k in mortgage expenses - there would be no hesitation in giving the money back.
