For those with green fingers - check out Morrisons.

I was mooching around there yesterday and noticed that they are selling 'seed disks' at 2 a pop.

They are paper disks with various seeds scattered over them. You fill yer hangin basket with compost, pop a disk on the top and then place another 1cm of compost on the disk. Water and walk away - a couple of months later you have a gorgeous looking display.

Not seen these before - but cheaper, quicker and cleaner than buying your plug plants from B&Q and planting up individually.

Aldi are doing lots of garden / plant stuff at the minute too.

Saturday was gorgeous, spent the day working on Pr1vate_Piles's new 307 in just jeans and a t-shirt, even though the morning started at -2 at 8am and there was snow on the Pennines going over to Sheffield!
