Smile PP2000 in South Somerset (Yeovil) Wanted

Simple as description!
Are you in S.Somerset or N.Dorset, have PP2000 and want to earn some cash in hand?
I have to move in a month and have our 307 1.4 on the drive needing diagnostics (in economy mode with immobiliser issue).
Need an hour of your time and brain power.
Tea and cake too!
Thanks, Nick 0781 8656856

Hi Nick - sorry to hear you are still having problems with the 307

If I remember correctly we managed to eliminate a couple of things you had concerns about, but there were a number of possibilities we hadn't explored.

Sadly, as I am still a bit of a novice PP2000 user I haven't gained the skill to properly interrogate your car as to what could be wrong - so I would just be clutching at straws.

To recap, the engine would simply stall for no apparent reason, then it wouldn't restart as the immobiliser light was illuminated on the dash. I have had no joy in explaining why your engine would cut out, or fail to restart.

Maybe crankcase sensor or possibly a virgin chip for the key, to sort of wipe the slate clean? I'm sorry I don't have a proper answer for you.

I hope you and the family are keeping well though,

Kelv.
