Hope it was the 500 and not the 500L.

Of all the 'new versions' of the recent classics I liked the 500 because it looked more like the original than either the Mini or Beetle. They didn't stray too far with the small car. The 500L on the other hand - I was stopped at some lights next to one of these and it is bigger in all ways than my 307. That's just wrong in my mind.

Anyways enough of my rant. Hope she gets a lot of use and enjoyment out of the car whichever model it is. Must have been a 'can't believe it' moment for her when she was told she had won.

Thats a great thing..!!

I have to agree with Storeman - the 500 is okay(ish) to look at compared to the other 'retro' models, and its a solid and dependable Panda underneath.

I'm not jealous at all, no not me..

Hope if its a 1.2 the software has been updated as featured on Watch Dog if she has to drive up hills.

PS if it's a twin air make sure she checks the oil on a regular basis. My son works at a PSA/Fiat dealers and they have had a good few failed engines, warranty refused on most of them due to low or no oil.

The twin air appears to be like the prince engine some like to drink a bit of oil
