Default OT - Incredible Feeling

I saw my son's face for the first time yesterday, we had a 4D scan and it's such a surreal experience being able to see him "in utero".

As he's my first sprog, it's been a torrent of new experiences which just keep getting better and better, and he's not even born yet!

Can't wait to teach him his way round a set of spanners

you will always remember the first one vividly ,, sometimes because it is so nerve racking every Murmur you jump to them but it is a great experience .we are on our fourth Grandchild now but I still remember 35 years ago how good it felt .we did not get fancy pictures then just a sort of blob on an ultrasound scan .. you can make out all sorts of features on the new scans . Congratulations

congrats to you both from mrs and me...my 2 boys for some reason didnt like the oily side of fixing cars/lorrys so in the late 80s I invested lots of folding in computers...30years on and one is a senior manager for Dell...and the other heads an i-phone app development team. Both earn more that I ever thought possible...Good luck and enjoy

Just seen this, first congratulations on the birth of your son. Second I hope your wife? Is fine after the birth, and third 9 weeks is is not that much prem these days so I'm sure your son will be fine. Don't Russ about blubbering at the birth it is the most wonderful thing a man can witness. I have been at the birth of my 3 and its as wonderful each time. Enjoy your new stage in life

Cheers, mum and baby doing really well, a few weeks in the neonatal unit is a small price to pay for his health and wellbeing, hopefully he'll be home sooner rather than later

All best to you and your family Jimmy, and don't let those bastards vaccinate your kid.

6 months ago me and the missus went for a 4D scan when our little'un was at 30 weeks gestation, less than a week later he made a surprise appearance.

The little bag of bones that arrived 10 weeks early has gone from strength to strength, he's been such a blessing to us, and we're so lucky that he was so strong and healthy.
