Unhappy Next stop-40

Well, 365 days to go until the beginning of the end, who said life begins at 40? i doubt it but would love to know what made them say that other than trying to cheer themselves up!

I was 40 in 1985 ..The sinclair C5 had just come out , the miners were on strike , Maggie just got voted in & Peugeot had just started making the 309 at Ryton , Coventry....

Not a lot has changed ...we have crap smart car, the Pits are still closed, still got a Tory in power & Pugeot have got back in step , but only got as far as 308!!

No longer built in England , but in any ex eastern commie bloc country who will have them.

& in 85 Nissan put down the footings for its new plant in Sunderland .

Nissan now No 4 in JD Power survey & Pugeot at no 28 down the bottom with all the other Euro crap Apart from Skoda , who are at No ONE !!!!.....What a wonderful world ..........
