Default new skygo app on laptop wont work

Since sky have changed access to sky go i have had to download a 'skygo app' on my windows 7 laptop,
the app lets me sign in and look at tv guide but when i click on any programme it gives a black screen with just the programme name at bottom
have turned off popup blocker as advised by the sky problem solver but still get the same blank black screen,
would say that on the guide the tv program selected is static not playing in the square at top of guide, when the arrow /play button is selected just get the blank black screen
any help would be welcome(i am not good technically with laptop ,so any advice in plain non technical jargon please)
Thanks

Hooray
here is the guide

What is your Internet Security Application that your using? If your using Kaspersky there is an issue with that but it's easily fixed, (I'm hoping Kaspersky will update their definitions)

If you double click the 'K' for Kaspersky in your taskbar (bottom right) and then click on the settings option bottom left looks like a cog wheel once you have this open go to this area

Protection
Application Control
Manage Applications
Scroll down to find Sky Go Player
Right Click Sky Go Player - -> Restrictions then set as 'TRUSTED'
Right Click Sky Go Player again
Details and Rules
Exclusions tab tick 'DO NOT SCAN ALL TRAFFIC'
Save
Close Kaspersky with the 'X'
Close Sky Go with the 'X'
Reopen Sky Go

What is the specs of your laptop?

Minimum windows requirements are:

- Intel based processor Dual Core or Core2 Duo with 2.1 GHz per CPU
- 2 GB system Ram
- DirectX 9 compatible video card with 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 600 MHz GPU clock rate and 5 M pixel-per-second fillrate
- DirectX compatible audio card

Hope this helps

Regards,
