Default Movie - Man of steel

An action packed, cgi filled spectacular.

I was a little dubious about this movie. Superman - pfaff - seen it all before.

Far, far better executed than the original movies.

This movie can be described as a mix of Superman 1 and 2 on steroids.

We are introduced to General Zod, Krypton is destroyed (we find out why) and our man of steel is sent on his merry way to good old Earth.

This is before he started as a journalist for the Daily Planet - we also find out why he chose this particular profession.

Cracking start, faultering middle and equally cracking end.

Now out on blu-ray 2d and 3d (Asda apparently are the cheapest I am told).

A good Sunday afternoon viewing - lots of action - this gets an 8 out of 10.

I'll wait for your review as you tend to have very similar tastes in movies to me. I'm a little sceptical about gravity and haven't decided one way or the other.

I enjoyed Elysium. Quite a good storyline even though the ending was pretty obvious and probably the weakest part of the movie.

I tried watching it but couldn't get into it. It seemed to be a mash up of the original Superman 1 and 2.

I got a good copy of Gravity at work, the visuals are stunning but the film is a little lacking.

Very good film i thought, really enjoyed the start with the last days of Krypton.

Got the bluray for christmas, from the reviews i've heard it's transferred over well.

Didn't expect Gravity to be an amazing story, deffo a film to use to show you kit off with.

It's a superman movie - oops hope that didn't spoil it for you

It is quite a good movie - a completely different way of telling the same story to everything that went before.

Watched it last night. Thought it was a bit predictable. Many in red cape saving humanity. LOL. OK film.
