That's useful. Hopefully it will become a standard free service instead of a "beta" they might pull out at some point.

It redirected me to this URL:
https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

I'll keep a PDF of my current car history so I can use it for a future sale...

This is indeed a fantastic service! Especially to see the look on sellers faces when you turn up for a viewing and casually mention things it has failed on in the past. There really isn't anything that you can hide these days when selling a car, and that's the way it should be. If you want to sell a car for a good price - take care of it!

I have the MOT checker as a favourite on my browser - since the DVLA had the bright* idea of removing the tax disc. I check my car, my wifes, my Mum-in-Law, Step-Mum etc etc - just to keep an eye on them to see when things expire...

Just had a look and even without paying anything, that is a very well designed site and gives all the information required. I'll be bookmarking it for future reference!

Default Great App

I use a free app called 'vehicle smart'. You add a registration then you can tap to add to your 'garage'. When the MOT/TAX is due the app sends you a notification to advise. Also has all MOT history etc on there.

Brilliant and it's free!

Haven't come across the total car check before, does look more modern though and more in depth.
