David, google for traffic cameras along the route, you can see the situation live. I'm driving up to Scotland next week and I can check my route most of the way. Have a safe journey.

Been really bad but the main A55 is clear. More snow flurries expected, but nothing major.

Snow all gone in central belt of scotland only a little on the hilltops now

WAS worse further north no idea if it still is though
