Default Help in Essex

Hi

I am new to this forum and was hoping for some help

I have a Peugeot 308 1.4 2010 petrol and i love the car but it has recently come up with the Antipollution Fault warning...

I want to get it resolved but could really do with recommendations on reliable trustworthy garages in Essex who have experence with identifying the cause and fixing...

Car seems to be smooth still but did go into safe mode i think

Please help

Robert

Hi Gibbo

Thank you for your response, I used to be an active member of a Smart Roadster Forum but had to sell my Roadster as two seats is no longer big enough for my growing family... The Roadster was notorious for glitches and there was always something that needed doing, i used to describe it as a modern classic

Ive only had my 308 a short period but am really happy with the car and peugeot brand and am looking forward to becoming an active member of the Peugeot Forum... I read a lot of forum pages before asking for guidance and appreciate your help...

I have done all of the suggested checks and cannot see anything obviously wrong with my 308 as it runs smoothly and has been serviced etc...

As an update I filled the car up with Shell V Power today as has been suggested and went on a motorway journey and after stopping, turning the engine off and back on again the engine management light and antipollution fault have switched off... I will see how it goes but even if the Antipollution Fault stays off I would still like to know what caused it?

Would i still be able to plug the car into a diagnostic machine or would the fault have been wiped out now?

When I bought a peugeot I didnít realise it was going to be similar to owning a Roadster but am glad there is a similar Forum i can be a part of...

Rob

Luckily the BSI log records all faults and the mileage (in KM) it happened, so it will be there if you contact one of our members for a diag.
