Hi guys
Looking for some advice here. My desktop the last view weeks has been saying hard drive failure imminent and today it seems to have gone.i have removed hard drive and am wondering is it a case of just getting a new hard drive and uploading my back up discs?

Had a warning for a couple of weeks saying "hard drive failure imminent" so had it backed up last week.

have you put it in a caddy and tried formatting it externally and seeing if it still works? I tend to find that if a hdd is fooked it doesn't give me a warning lol
