Default Fool the speed cameras

Ive been reading there are ways to fool speed cameras, like this reflective tape will stop your reg from being visible when photo is taken....

Anybody think this is possible....

I am not sure what you would do with that tape - none of it is clear, it is all coloured, so that rules out putting it over your current plates.

If you were to make up your own, you would need to have the correct font, spacing etc, as well as the platemakers details (name & postcode? it has been a while, so I forget exactly what) so it does not draw attention to your car.

Maybe a backstreet garage would do it for you?

When I was an apprentice, I used to have all the drivers trying all sorts of crazy shit to make their plates "camera proof". None of it worked very well apparently.

I know there are all sorts of sprays and overlays, or even complete plates that claim to do the job out there, all sold as "show plates". Coz it is illegal.

Not sure if it is still just a 20 quid fine and a HORT/1.

i like the bit it says "as used on emergency vehicles" i know all the ones i work with dont have anything as cheap and tacky as this tape on it. they all have very highly reflective sheets specially made to each vehicle and they still get caught on camaras

There really aren't any ways to fool speed cameras. Mask your plate or take it off and it will get flagged to be checked out by a human and they'll just use the DLVA database and waste a lot of police time and taxpayers money hunting you down, and will throw the book at you.

You might fool the cameras but surely any rozzer that winds up driving behind you would notice your plate gleaming luminous like a bottle of peckham spring?
