Default Cheeky Misfiring 206!!

My 206 (04) keeps misfiring and is then a neusence to drive because it keeps bouncing a little and the revs will only go up so high!! I've taken it to the garage who ran diagnostics which came up with nothing and it's only happening when I'm driving alone - which is soooo frustrating when you've got no idea about cars and can't prove it to anybody!

Anyway - what can I do about this? Has anyone else struggled with this before?

Thanks in advance!

Any warning lights?

What was used for diagnostic?

First port of call would be to run a diagnostic using planet or diagbox, it sometimes finds code other equipment doesn't.

Haha, I couldn't tell you what was used... I have no idea what I'm doing, let alone what the mechanic was haha.

Yes, when it misfires, the engine light comes on a flasher and beeps... Thanks! I'll get onto it!

If the engine man light is coming on there's definitely a fault recorded, so proper diagnostic should pin point it.

I'd guess at coilpack.

That was very helpful! Thanks!

I haven't used a forum before so that was dead handy!
