I wonder if it was a 4X4. Gives me the sh##s when following one of them it those road conditions when suddenly the pull out into the lightly used outside lane to overtake. 4X4 aren't invincible.

It just proves the point that just because your in a 4x4 you can't drive how you please in snow and ice.
Oh n here's the news report on the crash.
Quote:
Military Attache of the Embassy of Thailand in Moscow Tumhiran Sontichay died today in an accident. Car accident occurred around 11:00 Moscow time Petushki district of the Vladimir region. Military Attache of the Embassy of Thailand was traveling with his wife from Moscow to Suzdal. As a result of a collision with a truck diplomat and his wife were killed on the spot.
cause of the accident, according to preliminary data, it was a gross violation of traffic rules. Itar-Tass reported in the Office of Traffic Police of the Vladimir region.
Mercedes, driven by a diplomat who was driving at very high speed. Overtaking, the driver drove into oncoming traffic and the "head on" collided with a truck, said the official. The scene was cordoned off by police. They operate the traffic police and representatives of the investigation group. "The final conclusions on the causes of accidents can be done only after a series of examinations and thorough investigation" [26.02.2012 16:29:46]
apparently from one of the posts below the video all they found of him was a leg

i was going to say, there wouldnt be much left of the driver of that car...think of 44 tonnes plus, travelling at around 60mph hitting a 2 tonne car sideways....impact force is colossal.

but as said before it proves your not invincible in a 4x4...yet i see plenty of those choppers in big 4x4's like bmws, landies, merc thinking they own the road!

the thing I find is people with big 4x4's actually believe they can drive it at what speed they like in any weather conditions and that is terrifying for everyone else who has to be on the road.

i know your meaning karl....last year with all the snow, pretty much proves it.

there's even a guy on one those cop programs, floods down near Gloucester and the rest, motorway closed, guy in 4x4 goes down wrong way of motorway...pulled by police when he hits cordon says "im picking my wife up and its a 4x4" police were like "give a fleck you went through a road closed down the wrong side"
