I'm inclined to think that using some vba code would be the best way to go. Passing the parameters when the code is called would enable reusable routines.

I've not used vba much but used to write small programs in Visual Basic 6. Not done much since I moved on from Windows XP as VB6 doesn't like Vista or Win 7 and I seem to struggle getting my head around Dot Net.

Well sorry dear I can't help you in this problem because I hate the creepy excel. It always roll my head when I try to get in the formulas. So I am very sorry that I can't help you but if you need any help about graphic designing then you can ask without any hesitation.
