Default 406 Economy Mode Active

Greetings.
My 406 wagon wont start and it has been like this for about 3 day now
When i kick the engine wont start and it keeps showing "Economic Mode"
can someone help.pls.

Hello,
When the screen shows "Economy Mode Active" as you switch on the ignition, I believe it means the car's computer is limiting your use of ancillary equipment like radio, interior lights etc to 30min because your battery charge is low. If your car also won't start, it suggests to me your battery is REALLY low and hence won't even turn over the engine starter.

But before you take out the battery to charge it or change it, you better read the info here in the 'Maintenance' threads about the 3 or 30min rule before disconnecting it.

x2 on last post, Economy Mode is a symptom not the cause.
Once engine starts Economy Mode will be cancelled as soon as the BSI registers battery is receiving charge.
