Check your BSI for water ingress first before messing with anything else

Water ingress would not necessarily show faults !!

Does van beep with key in ignition and door open ?

Go into BSI and look at configuration parameters post up a screen shot of readings

No beep no start so you may need to recode your key but for van to stop it must have something more serious wrong as the key code would not stop it running after its been started.

The wrong ecu fitted message may also be something to do with it but its a symptom rather than the cause

It could be a simple fuse blown but as I say there has to be a reason they don't just stop.

sorry its taken so long for reply called into work.well found why van wont start on planet it says no sync between cam and crank sensor.when i turn engine over it changes between yes and no sync when it says yes engine fires but then changes to no engine stops firing.changed both sensors still the same engine turns fires only on 1 cylinder.

Wiring to the sensors is more likely than the sensors themselves check engine loom earths

Engine speed coherence is BECAUSE of the cam crank sync issue
