Hi
I brought an RT3 complete system out of a 407 Coupe. I assumed that it would easily fit in with the help of Planet Peugeot, so took it to my local dealer to fit. They were happy to fit it, but then turned around and said that the loom under the dash was not compatible, and that the Zenith never had sat nav fitted, which is not true. Then happily charged me £65 for the privilege.
The whole unit cost some pennies so cant really afford to right off my out lay as a bad investment.
So, is it possible to fit an RT3 unit into my Zenith and, can any body do it for me in Cornwall.
I know that I have brought up this subject before so I apologize if I'm repeating myself.
Many thanks.

Hi JMKent
Thats the add I found to make sure that what they said was bs.
They are saying that the fibre optic connection cannot fit inot my electrical system, and I agree with you about Hawkins. They should have known whether or not it could be done before telling me it could, and then charging me for telling me it cant. Do you know of anyone that can fit it into my car. i know that you offered to code it once it was fitted, but dont relish the thought of doing it myself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
:)

Hi Magma
It says in the PDf that you showed, page 50, me that a dealer cannot change the BSI information, and if this cannot be done easily then the unit will not work.
Is there anyone on here who knows of someone that isnt in London who could change this.
Thanks
:)
