help needed peugeot 207 1.6 16v camshaft dephasing fault

hi all ive been scratching my head on this if you look at the attached pic the ref value doesn't match the required one the car runs getting exhaust camshaft dephasing fault coherence ive changed the solenoid and cam sensor i dont think its the timing as the value doesn't change at all, for somewhat reason i think the ecu calculates the degrees

From your screenshot the measured angle is completely out of bounds while the reference value and OCR% are consistent with the ECU in 'limp' mode.

So Reference value is the target angle that the ECU is trying to achieve. The OCR% is the signal going to the solenoid valve. The OCR% figure you see would be correct to achieve a target angle of 122deg (low OCR% = high degrees, high OCR% = low dergees).

The key to the fault is the out of bounds measurement figure. Suggests to me that a connection to the position sensor is open circuit. Look for corrosion on connector contacts.

What actual fault codes have been logged? Might be worth getting Planet 2000 diags on it as you will see more information than the Snap-on generic reader.
