Bought my 2015 Allure in April 2017. I soon noticed the air con didn't work at all. Took it back to the second hand car garage i bought it from them and they fixed it. Last summer it worked fine.

Fast forward to a month or two ago when the sun started to make an appearance again and my air con is back to not working whatsoever. I took it into the Dealers who confirmed i am now out of warranty but if it's the condenser then there is a warranty extension as it's a known fault. After much crossing of fingers they have confirmed it is indeed the condenser, which Peugeot will replace free of charge, saving me an £800 bill!

So my advice - for those that don't run the air con all the time - is check your air con now!!!

You should run the air con as often as possible as it keeps the system lubricated and also prevents bacteria forming which is not good for you...some colleagues air con have exploded (white dust) thankfully this hasn't ever happened to me.

Hi when you say didn't work at all what do you mean?

I've been having issues with mine, I was told some sort of computer that memorises where the dial is was forgetting it was on cold.

With the hot weather I've found im getting lukewarm air, turn a/c on and it goes a tiny bit cooler, I am convinced I hear a noise like an exhaust that's blowing when I turn it up full.

I have a base model t9 308 so unsure if same insides

That exhaust noise or more often a hissing noise is likely your air con system running low on refrigerant gas especially if the blowers are not blowing cold. I would advise having the pressures checked at a local garage that are qualified to work on air con systems.
