Hi everyone. i had planet instaled on a laptop( which has now died) so i bought another on ebay. my problem is that the new laptop /notebook has a small screen (10 inch) so it does not display the whole pp2000 page and i can not see the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

is there a way to scroll down the screen to use the buttons at the bottom as there is no scroll bar on the planet page? ive tried the arrow keys but that scrolls through the models available.

i hope that some one will be able to help so i dont have to buy another laptop with a bigger screen.

if it helps the name of the laptop is a compaq mini .

thanks in advance for any help/ ideas. mike.

scroll bar better explaination ?

Hi guys. Thanks for the replys.

maybe i didnt explain my problem too well in my other post.

ive checked screen settings and my resolution is set to max on display settings. ive tried the alt+space tap x, but the page is already at max. i can maximize and minimize using tabs up on the top right of page.

i can only see the top half of list on the start page with vehicle selection, 106 107 205-405 406 407 etc. i can see the minimize restore down and close tabs in top right of screen, also i can bring up the move option too which changes cursor to a 4 pointed cursor ( left right up down ) the move option will not move the page about though.

i can grab the blue border around the page top - bottom and either side of page to stretch or crop screen.

what i am strugling to do is- grab the page and move it upwards to see the buttons at the bottom which are off the screen. i hope ive explained it better this time .

thanks again for your replys. mike.

possible fix for scrolling on notebooks

right click on your desktop to open up display properties. then click on

settings- advanced- monitor , then look for checkbox. ( hide modes that this monitor canot display) UNCHECK the tick box if it is ticked

then carry on to -properties- driver- update driver (tick install from list or specific location) - next ( select dont search i will choose the driver to install.)

( untick show compatible hardware) now a list should show up.

i clicked standard monitor types on first list. and on second list digital flat panel 1280x1024

then click next , the drivers will be updated.

you should now be able to just put your mouse to the top or bottom of the screen and it should auto scroll.

hope this helps. hope you can understand what ive tried to say too :)
