Low rev stutter when pulling away

Hello. I’m new to the world of Peugeot ownership so this may well just be a characteristic of the three-pot 1.0 in my 107. Basically, when warm the tick over is a little lumpy and on occasion there’s a weak smell of petrol. On applying a small amount of throttle to pull away (around 950rpm, I don’t have a rev counter so can’t be accurate) the engine runs very roughly and in most cases will stall as the clutch is released. However applying a small amount more throttle (above 1100rpm perhaps) smooths things out and away we go. I’ve not made any investigation into coil packs or lambda sensors as yet in case there was something more obvious causing this (possible) fault and there are no lights on the dashboard suggesting anything is wrong. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Cheers.

Never had a 3 pot 107 but have you replaced the spark plugs???

And all the other normal service items like fuel filter(if it has one),air filter??
Maybe the car just needs a good service before looking into things like coil packs and sensors.:)

And obviously oil and filter but they wouldnt cause the symptoms your describing

Firstly thanks for your suggestions. Had the car serviced pretty much as soon as we got it so plugs, oil, filters etc are fresh. It did make an improvement but still stutters on initially pulling away. I’ll certainly investigate air leaks etc as a possibility. Hopefully it’s something simple and obvious as the car in general is spot on.
