I don`t pal but just let the new clutch bed in for a month you should get 50,000miles out of the clutch after a remap.

Ah will do - thank you. The vibrations aren't felt through the steering wheel so much, but feels more through the pedals. I'm a student with a low budget, so want to rule everything cheap out before looking at the (more worrying) expensive stuff.

Yeah check thread and for any imperfections , and if you`ve a local garage just get them to check the balanced and pressure to rule those out before thinking clutch.

Could be clutch related or tyre balance , anyone near you with pp2000 that can give it a quick reading for fault codes?

No adverse effects as long as your car is well serviced and you don`t turn into a boy racer , if you tramp it all the time things will wear out , but i sold my 1.4hdi at 256,000 miles and it was going strong , i mapped it around 140k .
