Default Wrong number of ABS teeth, adjust software?

Hi,

My drive shaft broke and I have replaced it. Unfortunatly the new shaft has only 29 teeth on the ABS ring whilst the other side has 48.

Can this be adjusted in the cars software? Is there a quick solution?

No way to change in software but you may be able to swap the ring or outer joint between drive shafts

Thanks for helping. I was hoping for a easy fix but didnt really beleew in it. I just need to get under there again. I dont have a tourch to heat a new ring so I guess IŽll have to replace the other sides shaft.

Best regards,
Klabert

You will need to replace the shaft you have fitted if you change other to match you will have problems with front/rear readings, front will be half speed of the rears due to the lower number of teeth and this will also trigger fault
