Hi All
I’ve recently serviced my Peugeot 206 1.6 HDI. After changing the fuel filter and priming the fuel system (x6 ignition turns, self priming) I turned it over and it wouldn’t start. Now tried everything to get it to start -replacing filter, priming and re priming and am loosing my patience. I've since been told that when changing the HDI fuel filters its common that dirt gets into the high pressure pump and that there is a needle valve in the pump that needs to be cleaned in order for the diesel to flow. I’ve not heard of this before, so any advice or instructions would be gratefully received!!!! Many Thanks.
