Default 106, Driver door won't unlock with the key.

I got my 1997 106 the other day, but...

Basically it was lashing rain the other night, when I went out.
Later on, when I tried to open the driver door with the key. I couldn't.

The door opens fine from the inside, when you pull up the button, you hear the motor in the door kick in. The key works in the passenger door, the boot, and the ignition fine. It says it's a code key also.
When I put the key in the driver door, I can turn it to lock it, but it won't turn the other way, Any ideas ?

Yes, my son's had this, you need to take off the door card. The problem will be with part 3 or 6 on the diagram:

Usually the thing has popped out of the clip/hole. Have some glue handy to stick it back
