Default expert cenrtal locking/fan

Hi,

Just purchased a 1.6 Hdi expert but have a couple of problems with it. When inside and driving the open doors light is always on and I believe this is causing a problem with the operation of the central locking as I can't lock the van.

Also the fan only works on setting 4, I have seen a sticky for a repair for a 307 but can the same fix be applied for the van. I think it is a resistor problem.

Thanks in advance.

Post up the last 8 digits of your chassis number and we can check on Servicebox to see if there's a door switch sensor and heater resistor pack.

Somewhere on the car? On most Pugs its at the bottom of the windscreen.

Thanks for that Gibbo.........I take it I just need the resistance part for the blower. Not sure about the door part though.

Best to take it to a garage??
