Default Another non starter

2010 expert 1.6 hdi 9hu engine ignition comes on as it should battery light flashes with economy mode flashing on centre panel and no comms with the engine ecu. Come to start it and nothing just a click from the body control module. Had the body control and ecu looked at by bbm reman and they have inactivated the immobiliser but still exactly the same. Iv bought a brand new fuse panel for under the bonnet and still the same.
Any thoughts?

WIRING its nearly always wiring people go straight for the ecu and it rarely has anything to do with ecu.
Wiring will also cause no comms as whatever wires are bad are stopping the ecu waking up.

Are there any common wiring areas to look for?
If I put a 12v feed to the bottom 30A fuse causing it to trip a relay I can then get ecu comms and it’ll crank for a rev but then trips back into the dead mode.

That kind of proves the point that something wiring related is stopping the ecu waking up you cant just go feeding power in wherever you like and expect things to work you could do more harm doing that.

Check ALL earths and power feeds earths are more prone to cause issues than the fused feeds are power needs to complete the cycle for things to work so 12 volts in does not mean there is 12 volts out to earth

When you do get comms check the cranking speed etc in live data
