Default 2.0 Hdi cutting out / Rac report

hi and thankyou in advance to anyone who might have ideas or suggestions

I own Fiat scudo that has have an engine exchange, the van starts fine and runs very well sometimes. I keep getting the occasional hesitation and cutting out. Once the van cuts out, i can leave it for 3 mins and it restarts fine.

I noticed when the van cuts out there is no pressure in the hand primer (i give this a squeeze and it starts again immediately)

I had the Rac out and the guy seems to think its a Dpf issue ??

Any suggestions or is there someone local to me who has planet ??

Rac report below

Most of those faults are BECAUSE its cutting out not the cause.

You say the primer is empty when it cuts out but you also say it restarts after 3 mins both these statements contradict each other can you clarify

U codes are loss of comms between ecus on network probably because the power cuts when the engine cuts my guess is something electrical wiring is by far the most common reason.

It could be a fuel issue but if it was it would be hard to restart does not sound like it is again clarify

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly...

To clarify when the engine cuts out the primer has no pressure..a few squeezes and you can tell its full and back upto pressure (is this normal ??)

Its had a new Maf, fuel filter, air filter etc but the problem still exists

Today ive booked an auto electrican as i do feel it could be a wiring related issue or at least i can discounted some potential problems. The auto electrican did say hes got planet etc

Ok primer is probably normal so unlikely a fuel issue as if it was running out of fuel it would struggle to restart even after priming.

If it restarts after 3 mins WITHOUT priming its definately not fuel.
