Worst case scenario, a locksmith.

Had anything been done to the car prior to the key not working (ie. disconnecting anything)?

Once you get into the car, put the key in the ignition, attempt to start the car, turn the key to the off position, leave the key in the ignition and open the drivers door - if the car beeps, your car remembers the key. If it doesn't beep, you'll need to reprogram the key to the car, using the pin code, and check if the BSI is programmed and hasn't been corrupted. To do that, you'll need to get hold of someone who has Peugeot Planet or Diagbox. Find someone on this thread who is near to you and contact them.

Once in the car, open the bonnet and test the battery voltage and check the earths.
