Angry sat nav system on 2007 407 sw estate

Hi

does anyone know what i have to do to update the sat nav system on a 2007 407 sw estate

i have asked 3 people in peugeot main dealers they don't know

Do you have the RT3, RT4, RT5 or RT6? In a 2007 407 I'd guess RT3/4

You can find the maps on the internet with a bit of searching

They're ISO files which you burn to CD and put in the unit to update.

My 2007 407sw has the RT4/5. I bought the update discs on eBay. They updated okay but turned off a number of functions in the process, including the climate control screen and my CD autochanger. I had to go through a PP2000 intensive learning process to eventually get them working again. here's the thread:

It may put you off even trying to upgrade, but apparently most upgrades go without hitch. I just happened to have the one that didn't!
Of course, if you don't have the RT4/5, this wouldn't necessarily apply to you.
