Default Removing CD Changer Replacing DIN shelf

I'm looking to remove CD changer to install AUX cable. i was looking to replace the din shelf with cup/can holder shelf, wondering if anyone has tried these in terms of fitting do they fit ok. e.g:

DIN Car Cupholder Universal Replacement Cup Holder Accessory Drinks In Folding | eBay

i was looking at those first but then i saw these which might be better look on dash, looking to see if anyone has tried these out. worth a try for 15 i suspose.

in the description its says these are picts of old version, the new one (being sold) does not have writing on it.

If the 307 is anything like the 207, there is no way this will fit properly.

The factory fitted pocket that came with my 207 is a friction fit push in system. If I give a quick punt it will come out.

There are no screws or brackets inside to secure it. It's all friction fit. The stereo is held in by a din cage -- http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...2-DIN_Cage.jpg If it had brackets (Most jap cars seem to have these) it would be fine.

just purchased it, so i'll see how it goes. worth a shot for 18. i'll get picts up when i get this done.

The ebay ad says that some buyers use a stereo din cage to fit it
