Im just wondering which interface I now need, the official (chinese re-make) or can I use something like these?

Try aliexpress.com ... and search for pp2000 ... I got one for just under US$66 PLUS delivery which works out about 65 inc del from HK! And you get a copy of the pp2000 and diagbox s/w.

Correction 31st March 2012: Just had the credit card bill ... 62.19 all in ... bargain!

mine was 82 free delivery ebay all software included (except the keygen but that was easy enough to get ) elm 327 readers are no good for most things only give you a basic fault code that you have to then google if you want to run planet has to be a chinese clone
