Newbie requesting some experienced advice!
I've recently purchased a metallic blue 407 SW (2004) and have been prodding and poking it to give it a little character
Been considering changing the instrument dials to white and replacing the interior LEDs to change from orange to blue (and that includes the centre console lights too.) That is until I found out that they weren't simple swap out LED's but soldered items.
So, a couple of questions...
1. From your experience, how are blue LEDs compared to orange as far as reading the instruments and comfort??
2. Has anybody gone down the replacing instrument LEDs? How did you get on? Am I mad? (That last one's a freebie if you want to point and laugh )

John H is your guy for led replacements. He did his instruments among other parts. Go on the boost your posts thread and then you could pm him, 20 posts needed. Try the search box top of page for blue led replacements and you will find pictures of blue interiors and all interior lighting he and other members have done.
