Just a little update. Had a "carefull" poke about today with my tester, and it seems as though ive found maybe the missing link as to possibly why people have problems with some of these clones. The relay/relays appear to be sticking, and don't seem to follow the pattern of tests on screen, theory being you could be trying to test an Airbag ecu using the correct coding, and its stuck for arguments sake on the engine ECU, showing either a no reply, or an ecu couldn't be reference. Im unsure about a "CAN" system on this, but its worth pointing out that with a carefull and considered method, you can actually check for ecu transmission's, by poking a probe into the relevant (carefull wording here lol) reverse side of the OBD plug, on the correct line and setting for dc volts, and watch the reading move up and down as tranmissions take place. :-)
