Default diagbox pp2000

to cut a long story short. purchased a laptop with xp and installed planet

no issues for 2 years and worked perfectally.

decided i needed newer software, upgraded to windows 7 and installed diagbox

installed xp mode with planet but wouldnt connect to the car

installed vmware which wasnt much good

looked at dual booting the laptop but kept getting blue screens

connected the diagbox to my missus car but says pp2000 referenced on the engine ecu. it never did this on planet with the same cable

i have managed to get through to the ecu manually but its a pain

any ideas why this is. i get alot of make sure lexia is connected have to undo the usb and reattach a few times which is a pain

any ideas guys
why are these not easy

has anyone ever had the problem i have on diagbox.

when i click into peugeot planet it says the lexia is being used by another program. i guess this is diagbox.

you have to go back and uplug and replug in the interface a few times. its so annoying you dont get this on a standalone pp
