Default Autodimming rearview mirror

What happened thread that was started some time ago by me or Stubbo, cannot seem to find it.

Anywhoo, I want to put an autodimming mirror in my new 307. I did it before in my last 307 and wired it to the interior light.

I'd like to do it properly this time, I think I have to run one cable to the sidelights but does it matter what cable....?

I'd also like to add this black squared off conduit, think about 4-5mm wide but cant seem to find any....

Here is the proper way but I dunno you will follow it or not
According to Sedre, you should have 3 cables.

Number 1 should be connected to the earth (earth point number is 46A),
Number 2 should go to the 6th pin of the BSI,
Number 3 should go to the 7th pin of the BSI after the crimp point. This point will be the connection point of the right, left tail lamp and the cable from the dimming mirror. Hope this helps
