Default radiator fan switch (location?)

iv a partner van 1.9 non turbo , mark 2 ,year 2003 and im wondering if anybody here knows where the rad fan switch is ? its not on the radiator far as i can see
its getting summery and in traffic the temp is going higher when i stop in traffic but no fan comes on ,altho temp isnt anywhere near red , YET !

My boxer does the same,but there was no stat in the housing when I changed the head might be your missing one also

It's probably the coil resister that's corroded, you can only see the wires, plug and fitting screw if you look through the bumper low down to the left of the centre of the vehicle.
They are not very expensive from Peugeot and quite easy to remove/refit when you work out the knack!

The switch that controls the rad fan is the one on top of the stat housing (green). It's a 2 pin sensor that controls both the temp gauge and the triggers the ecu to switch the fan on.
It should switch at around 95 degrees.
