Default Boxer radiator fan issue

Hi everyone,

I have a Boxer on a Y plate and im having a problem with the main radiator fan constantly running when it cuts in, either with the ignition on or off.

If I pull the block connector to the fan it stops and works as it should cutting in and out but then after I couple days it reverts back to constantly running again when it cuts in and if I leave it, it will eventually flatten the battery.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the fan relay location or temperature switch?

Thanks in advance Dorris

PS the vehicle does not have air con

This does sound like a sticky relay. I think the relays are in a box on the fan frame itself.
