Default Boxer 2.2HDi cutting out

Hi,
I am looking for help regarding my dads 2.2HDi boxer. It has been cutting out randomly whilst driving and today he had the EML codes read. He was told that this was a fuel pump sensor. Could someone please guide me towards where a new sensor may be obtained and whether this would fix the problem or if there is something more underlying than this.
Any help is much appreciated.
Ben

Well it could be the fuel pressure regulator or the over pressure limiter. I need a code number

Sorry,
The vehicle is a white 2004 boxer with the 2.2HDi engine. It also has the maxilift crane on the back. I'm not really sure what more can say about it tbh. It is a flatbed though. Now on 140k miles

ok. See if you can get the specific code that you got out of the engine ecu.
Or get a diagnostic with Peugeot planet.
