Default 1998 Boxer front discs and pads

Any pointers or gotchas with regard to replacing front discs and pads on a 1998 320MWB Boxer ?
Specifically can this be done without impacting on the bearings ?

Yes it can be done without disturbing the wheel bearings. You'll need a 14mm Allen key the remove caliper carrier to remove disc.
