Default Rear Window on 206 SW

Does anyone have any experience with removing and replacing one of the rear side windows on the Peugeot 206 sw (2004 Estate).

It seems to be press sealed onto some sort of mastic, but I'm not sure, and feel it may damage if not removed correctly (or it may not be removable without replacement).

I need to remove one to do some paintwork below the window and remove some algae trapped behind it.

Thanks for any info.

Thanks reliable
I thought that might be the case and assume it would be difficult to get out without damaging it.

I assume it requires special equipment to bond it, or a new one, back in ??

I've got my local Autoglass branch to remove windows for me in the past. They are normally quite happy to do it on the understanding that they won't accept liability for any breakages. If you can accept that proviso (no worse than you doing it) you'll get the benefit of their tools and experience...

Thanks Brian - That sounds like an option.
