I have a new white, 308. It has 'acquired' a paint chip on the plastics strip along the rear door at the front door join.
The garage and I have touched up with the proper touchup paint but it just flakes off!!
Please can someone help??

What I have done in the past is to:
Clean it with a touch of sand paper on the end of a pencil
wipe out with an alcohol wipe
then use some plastic primer
Allow to dry and reapply some primer if necessary
Apply paint in think layers using the brush or an art brush to build up the layers
Smooth down with some fine wet and dry
Apply top coat
As I say, it's what I have done when I have had the patience. I did this to some nasty stone chips on the firms car that was due back today.....took a long time but at least it passed its inspection without problems
