Default Getting rid of badly touched up stone chips

Ok, new car (9yrs old) has had some stone chips touched up using one of those brushes that you use to get years ago, need to sort them properly, am i talking a bodyshop or a good detailer to flatten them so I can do a proper job??

If you dont have the confidence to try it yourself with a spray can and/or the colour is dfificult to match then go to a decent body-shop. If the spots are just raised blobs you can do what I do and use a very small detailing/polishing tool with a Dremel on slow speed to take the lump down then just use cutting polish. The brushes in those touch-ups are useless, may as well use a sweeping brush. I use the sharp point of a plastic toothpick/flosser. Main thing is not to expand on the area you are working on. If its a 3mm blob then use a steady hand and do just that and it should blend into the background.
