Angry 306 not starting

My 306 will not turn over it sound like it want to but nothing

306 wont turn over but sounds like it wants too !!!

Turn over generally means engine IS turning with starter

Not firing means not starting

which do you actually mean

Petrol/diesel what engine etc etc

Sorry I turn the ignition and I get the noise but that's it

Sorry thats not really any better

you turn key and you get the noise ?

noise of fuel pump priming or noise of engine turning with starter ?

That start again I turn the key to start the car and the engine won't turn over so after 3 sec I stop turning key so I don't flood the engine
