Default Engine number 2012 Bipper

Hello all
I have just bought the above mentioned, and can't find the engine number. I have the VIN - VF3AAFHZ0C8253820.

Unfortunately I do not have the registration document (don't ask, it's a long story).

There is a sticker inside the engine compartment with the number 00552343200 on a bar code. Is this the engine number?

Any help gratefully received.

Cheers

Your bipper has an engine CODE of FHZ your engine is actually a fiat 1.3 engine and is not peugeot as the van is fiat based with peugeot and citroen badging !

The engine is used in fiats and vauxhalls but you will be unlikely to be able to find the engine number on the block as they get very rusty and cannot be read

Default Bipper

Awesome, thanks.

I'm filling in an export certificate for DVLA (i've brought the van to the Isle of Man), so if I can't actually find the actual engine number I guess I'm in a bit of trouble?

Number is on the engine block near the crank sensor but even when new was hard to read

Good luck

it is most likely going to start with ZFA199

Thanks again !
in the end I found the number on an old MOT job sheet, so happy days.

Cheers for the help though.
